The Rockmount restaurant and bar is a large food led pub restaurant on Cobo bay on the North coast of Guernsey.
Internally there are three separate bar areas, the main and largest area being the lounge bar that you enter into from the outside terrace seating. This section is food orientated and has a mix of tables and chairs set for dining.
Then to the right is an area called the Tap Room off to the side of the lounge bar, which has 3 large Flat screens primarily for sport.
Then the third section to the left acts more as a public bar for the locals with things like a meat raffle being advertised in this section.
There are five hand pumps in the main lounge bar section and these had three real ales and a cider on for our visit. Alongside Shep Neame Spitfire, Randall’s Golden Guernsey Pale Ale and Rudgate Viking Golden Ale were on and the Rudgate and Randall’s brews ere in good Nick.
This is a popular place for dining and booking is pretty much essential if you want to dine here in the tourist season
