This Amber Inns pub is housed in Brighouse's old post office and photos are dotted around the walls. I took to this pub straight away as it had a good convivial atmosphere and the decor and seating areas were very comfortable. They also have cheap beer, with two ales from Moorhouse's, Blonde Witch and Top Bin both at £3 a pint. A good decent local's pub.

A sub spoons type of place, the counter is hidden away at the back beyond a range of seating areas. It’s very thickly upholstered and decorated in a range of styles. Two pulls of Moorhouses in a sea of T-Bars. It’s tastefully decorated and not bad for a quick half.

Called in again yesterday as i was told in the Ship inn that the Old Post Office was now a more of a drinking establishment than when it was the Office. This was correct with the place being packed and extremely cheap beer prices

Not overkeen on this one. It is one of those with the wait here to be seated places with most of the crowd dining. The drinking area is to the right of the bar,which had 4 cask pumps but only 2 in operation.
