Visited in January on a Friday afternoon. 5 hand pulls, all of which were on. The revived Boddingtons Cask took centre stage, flanked by Longford Tap House Bitter, Bank Top Flat Cap, something by Tatton and Phoenix West Coast IPA. I went for the latter at £2.-something for a half. I suspect I may have been disappointed by some of the other options and I noticed there were no dark ales available.

Various keg options on the back wall with taps on fake barrels, including Track Sonoma, something by ShinDigger, a Pomona Island and possibly Cloudwater. Cocktails, spirits and wines are served too.

A handful of people in just after midday opening. There is a jukebox, and music was playing to add to the ambience. Dog friendly, but they must be kept on leads.

There is functional if unsexy red non-slip flooring. Bare wood is round the lower hald of the walls, and the bar itself is made up of bare wood planks. The upper half of the walls are painted with sparkly orange/gold paint. There are lots of historical photos of the local areas on the walls spread across five giant frames. There is a mix of high and low tables and chairs.

Standing at the bar is not permitted once you've been served.

Overall, it's a nice place, but could have benefited with more variety on the pumps at the time of my visit.

Visited here last night (Tuesday) for the first time. Wasn't really sure what to expect but it's quite a nice space, semi industrial feeling with painted breezeblock walls but there is plenty of wood with the massive sign above the bar and drinking shelves around the perimeter, to complement the tables and chairs which are of basic pub style - functional and comfortable enough. A fruit machine and a jukebox break up the space, there are candles on the tables, but otherwise it is fairly minimalistic but it works and I think overall it is a decent looking place. There are a few tables outside for the smoking brigade. Back inside there are several massive photo collages of the local area from times gone by, which I found interesting.

At the bar are four hand pulls, last night offering a Longford Tap branded house ale (looked like it was probably a bitter), Beatnikz Beach Bum, Manchester Brewing The Messiah Is My Citra and Track Sonoma. The Beach Bum was very nice and in decent condition. There are also some keg taps but I didn't pay any attention to these so not sure what was on offer.

Overall this is a nice place, decent beer, and I would be very happy to pay a return visit.
