Blue Scrumpy left this review about Foxhunter Inn
Village pub set next to a disused railway station on a single track railway line that is still in use and seemed quite busy.
The pub itself was less busy when we arrived. Staff were sat around a table planning menus. There were about 6 of them in all, including a couple of young barmaids.
3 real ales were on. Felinfoel Double Dragon is a regular here. They also had Felinfoel IPA and my choice, Glamorgan Cwrw Cymru. Real ales were the best option here, as the pub's chillers had failed, leaving the lagers very gassy and the fizzy ciders quite warm. My wife's Stowford Press cloudy was undrinkable. My half arrived as a pint. But in fairness to the landlady, we were only charged for my half I'd ordered.
Other customers were arriving for dinner and it was amusing to watch the young barmaids struggle with the gassy beers. We wished them all the best of luck and moved on!
