Is to be called 54.
23/8/19:
This new modern bar is one of many now to be found on the back streets of town and like 99% of them on Seel St, Fleet St and Wood St its fairly rubbish especialy if you're wanting the feel of a traditional pub. This is on two levels with a mezzanine above the bar. Fairly basic decor with a rather garishly painted ceiling. No real ale so its fizz-u-likes only in the bar with Stella, Beck, Hells, Cidre, Camden Pale and Bud Light doubled up. A once only visit. Not really for me.

This used to be a late Victorian warehouse that housed wine that dates back to 1872.The Victorian facade remains with with Brockbank and Mellor inscribed above the windows. It is now a large one roomed split level box and apparently the lower floor can hold up to 400.At the moment it is just a bar that specialises in small plate food but soon the kitchen will be moved upstairs. There is a smart outdoor area which i think for the time being is shared with The Grove pub.The ceiling has been painted by but i don't think will be to everyone's taste. On the beer front no cask just 6 taps to go for.
