Old Boots left this review about WIP

A small, possibly a micro, pizza and craft beer bar over two floors. A small front bar with a counter on the right leads into a small sitting area, the door to a garden and stairs to the upper floor. There are three hand pumps but just Seacider going on one, no clips on the others temporarily I was told. There’s a narrow drinking shelf on the left with tall stools. The craft kegs plus Murphy’s are supplied from an eight bank horseshoe and a twin Vocation fount. A good number of well known craft breweries were represented, Deya and Verdant among them. There’s a fridge of cans to the side of the counter.

A wildcard produced at the last minute by an advance party poking their heads round the door. Apparently the WIP stands for ‘working in progress’ but it felt like a fairly finished article to me. Micropubby with two floors and a bit of an alehouse feel. Three pumps with just the one cask ale with two ciders – so the default was Oakham Inferno which was pretty good (NBSS 3.5). The missus' craftykeg Vault City was poured into a into a hot glass (tut tut) but was fine. I liked the ambience in here so it’s worth a nose if you are on an extended crawl of the city centre.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about WIP

Craft beer bar and pizza establishment of micro-pub size and look in the compact front bar and rear room, although some more seating is also available upstairs. Plainly furnished and simply decorated throughout. No cask ale when I visited, although a cider was on one of the three handpumps, so that left the offerings from the fount with eight keg taps. These offered a good selection of beers in different styles from smaller breweries, and I went for Attic's Signals IPA (£6.00) in the end.
