Will Larter left this review about Beck Hall Hotel

Approached delightfully by a rustic bridge across the beck, which may be obscured by parked cars if my experience is typical. (The actual car park is a few yards further up Cove Road.) And the bridge may well be guarded by a swarm of gnats, so be warned. On closer inspection, the building has a large extension which has the appearance of a restaurant, but there's no mistaking the bar counter with four hand pumps, so I reckon it just about qualifies as a pub. The three beers were all local (see photo) and I took my pint of Settle Main Line Bitter to a cafe-type table to enjoy. Staff were very friendly despite being busy, but I couldn't help noticing that every customer was eating and some of them were clearly staying in the hotel. More importantly, the beer was not in very good condition - cetainly not a patch on the same beer when I've had it in the Talbot Arms in Settle - but not so bad as to be worth complaining about. So no reason to come here for a beer rather than the two pubs in the village.
