Blue Scrumpy left this review about Tricky's
This place was a bit of an unusual one. It is set in the countryside, the other side of the A30 from Redruth town centre. The bar is housed in a former smithy but now part of a hotel and conference centre.
It is quite dark inside but a skylight above the bar provides a little light. There are some old beer mats on a beam above the bar. There is a pool table and a large screen TV at one end. A wifi password is provided. Live music and discos are hosted. A couple of picnic tables and a bench can be found for outdoor drinking, next to an extra large car park.
The bar has 4 handpulls. Tribute & Jail Ale are the regular cask ales. Landlord was a guest, with Shipyard on keg. Ciders are Healey's Rattler & the Gold and 3 fruit ciders from Thatcher's.
A few locals were present but there was not much atmosphere on a Thursday afternoon. I don't think I'd make the effort to go here regularly unless I lived very close by.
