An unexciting entrance leads you upstairs to a magnificent location in the old Corn Exchange, with a splendid roof and some interesting painted wall adverts. Then it's down to the usual Cosy Club collection of old portraits and other rubbish which detracts somewhat. It does at least have a separate drink/coffee area round the bar counter, so you don't get embroiled in the 'wait to be seated' nonsense. Usual Lounges group beer selection - one Brixton amongst the kegs and Bristol Stout in bottle. Worth seeing but not worth staying.

A very impressive conversion from the old Corn Exchange. Very high ceilings with chandeliers and mood lighting. Plenty of old signage from the ex retailers etc of the old building and some of the usual Cosy Club tat. No real ale here anymore sadly so I ended up with a pint of Punk IPA. Ms CAMRA really liked it in here, so we'll no doubt be back.

Huge barn of a place with chandeliers dotted around the ceiling. Bar to right as you come up the stairs. Mainly keg and very popular with the young. I will not be returning.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cosy Club
New bar / restaurant housed in a large airy space upstairs in the former Corn Exchange - not only full of the usual Cosy Club random paintings and miscellanea but also including some large advertisements for old local businesses on the wall which look original - and altogether an impressive conversion. Two real ales available on handpump: Oldershaw Grantham Dark and Pragmatic from Beermats Brewing.
