Much improved and a proper bar room has been created alongside the brewery, with rows of tables, a bar to one side and a table football machine for entertainment. Opening is more regular and food is available all sessions. There are still benches outside as well as a large tented awning which gives welcome shade or shelter, although the guy ropes are a bit hazardous. A long row of keg taps of their own brews is joined by a couple of handpumps, on this occasion serving Solaris and a new draught cider. If travelling by train, note that Hersham station is not as far as shown on the map as there is a handy footpath crossing the river.
Original review June 2019
Taproom is something of an overstatement, as it is basically the loading bay of the brewery in a modern industrial unit, equipped with half a dozen German beer festival tables and a portable bar. Further tables are provided outside if the weather is amenable. Four keg taps offered a range of rather cold beer including a stout, a lager, an IPA and a wheat beer, with others available in tins. Apart from the novelty value of drinking alongside the impressive row of stainless steel fermenters you are probably better off heading to one of their pubs if you wish to sample their produce in comfort.
