Shop conversion micro pub.... according to the super knowledgeable landlord, one of only 8 venues in the GBG that does not serve cask.
Instead, its bottles.... 100s of theme and Keg. Last weekend (I missed it) they had a successful Octoberfest. This weekend it was a Deya Tap Takeover - including prizes for drinking 6 of them. They're either hard drinkers in these parts or they are unaware of the effect that Deya has on middle aged men brought up on Banks.
Easy to get into conversion and a very enjoyable visit.

More of a beer shop than a pub, although they have tried to make it feel like a micropub with the tables and chairs, minimalist décor and banks of fridges with various bottled beers. There’s no real ale as such, more craft beer and lots of bottled and canned beers. On tap were a Honey IPA, a Trappiste lager and a lighter lager. The IPA was the best of the bunch, but the prices were horrendous. The barman was friendly enough, quite helpful in fact, but the type of beer and the cost would stop me coming back.
