I was part of a group of ten visiting for lunchtime after a bit of putting with the ROBOTS and was suprised to get a table without booking. Friendly efficient service. I had steak and draught Otter Ale. Lovely views of the prom and beach and sea breezes coming through the open windows.

A hotel bar to the left of the entrance and occupying one corner of the building,this is a comfortable place to drink and has been tastefully decorated with smart grey wallcoverings,a slate faced bar and framed prints on the walls.The bar interior has two sections with traditional furniture and ceiling fans which are necessary when sunlight is streaming through the large windows.
At the bar there are three handpumps ,one unused on my trip with the other two serving Otter Bitter and St Austell Tribute (decent).There is a wide selection of ciders,and food is served in the bar.
Pleasant and relaxed ,a good stop off as you wander along the esplanade.
