Real Ale Ray left this review about Nan Moor's

Quite a Bohemian looking interior, with lots of fairy lights around the place and we found the place to have limited seating and standing near the bar wasn't an option. We did manage to squeeze in at a small table opposite the front bar. One cask on stillage behind the bar, which was Torrside Mosiac Pale, at £4.50 a pint but was slightly on the tired side. There was also a selection of keg fonts and a good range of cans and bottles from the fridge, plus a good range of ciders to choose from in boxes on the bar. This bar is now under a major refurbishment, so things might change drastically. This is an award winning cider pub 2024

Tiny eccentric bar next to the canal, it does one and sometimes two beers straight from the cask with three kegs from European sources and local breweries. The casks use in cask cooling and are quite acceptable, bottles and cans are also available. There’s a small front seating area by the side counter, a smaller area up a few steps and a beer garden at the rear.

ROB Camra left this review about House des Löwe

A small, friendly bar right next to the Rochdale canal. It's one small room on two levels with a hotchpotch of furniture. We were greeted by a friendly barmaid on our Saturday, mid afternoon visit, but we were the only ones in. No real ale, but a couple of craft keg pumps. It's probably lively at night and weekends as there's a DJ rig and you can book an hours slot on the decks to play your own music on Tuesdays. It's a nice little place and we'd happily call in again. Still no-one else in when we left though.
