Bit of a jack-of-all-trades in here, a cafe bar with pub stylings. Planking on the walls and servery, multiple TV sports on mute and a bar billiards table; seemed a bit incongruous. There’s also a rooftop terrace. An ambitious four mainstream (for the environs) cask - 2x St Austell, Bath Gem and an ostensibly fresh, if very peculiar tasting, Doom Bar (NBSS 1) alongside 3x Lilleys ciders. Basic burger and pizza menu at the cheaper range of things. Odd place; there’s bits to like but also that Doom Bar was rancid…
