David Walton left this review about Nine Lives

Visited 29/07/26. Visited previously 23/02/22.

No cask. Keg offering of just Peroni on draught plus a range of beers by the bottle.

Basement venue with some cobbled mews like seating at the front on picnic style benches. Down the stairs to the basement there are a couple of private tables before the venue opens out with the bar counter along the left-hand wall with tall stool seating at the bar counter. There are banquettes around most of the perimeter albeit there are some booth tables along the rear wall from the entrance. Generally low tables in the main floor space served by low stools. Lots of lanterns and plants hanging from the otherwise industrial ceiling. The venue was very busy on my late evening visit as an alternative to a visit to one of my immediate local traditional pubs. Can't see myself repeating this off-piste quaffing diversion too often. Rated lowly as a beer destination, not for its cocktail bar modus operandi!
