Hard to find, down a lane off the road. Has the feel of a club and indeed I later found out that it used to be one. Retro - or dated - decor from the early 90s with the oddity of an office ceiling. Smell of damp. Very friendly barmaid. Vaping allowed inside if sensible. Karaoke and pub quiz advertised. No cask so a substandard Guinness had to do, which was at least delivered to my table. I had a soft spot for it despite the negatives, sometimes the service and welcome can really help.
