Blue Scrumpy left this review about Enigma Tap

The last time I visited here in October 2020, it was between lockdowns and I had to try to secure a booking for a table. On arriving, they had to throw another couple out. Whilst that was on a Saturday evening, my early Thursday evening visit during more normal times was a complete contrast, in that I was the only customer throughout my visit.

Siting in the same seat next to the bar, I enjoyed a swift half of Two By Two Leap Frog. Other cask ales were RedWillow Feckless, Cullercoats Sandpiper & Errant Games Without Frontiers. The real cider was Saxby's Blackcurrant Cider. There are a number of craft beers too, along with Saxby's 3 Points Cider on keg.

This is a simple, small square room micropub with a light and modern feel. There is a fridge next to the bar with various bottles and cans to drink on the premises or to take out.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Enigma Tap

This one roomed micro was formerly a nail bar. We stayed here longer than anticipated as the beer quality was sublime and the young barmaid was friendly and chatty. Three ales on handpump, Rigg & Furrow Best Bitter, Brewsmith New Zealand Pale and Errant Reel to Reel. The pub was also spotlessly clean and tidy.
