Bar, walk in get served beer says it all really as I did and signs along the road advertised. Noted it's not a pub pub but it fits the criteria that's generally accepted here. TBH I'd not accept places doing 2/3 pints but hey ho the world isn't perfect and they get added, I got a pint here which beats those places....
Suspect once the weather gets better people might live a little and have a beer. Appreciate you seem to control this neck of the woods but the world moves on from where beer can be purchased now from spit and sawdust venues.
Now the review, perfect venue next to The Mere with outside space which is a pleasurable place to have a beer which you can just wonder into without being forced to have tea or food.
Germanic lager on tap on my visit was San Miguel.

Not really sure what this is doing on here , its in a great position on the banks of the Mere , the one side of the building is a Cafe/Tea Room shared with the Shropshire Wildlife Trust visitor centre , the other side is a table service restaurant/tea room , they do have the occasional Real Ale , usually Stonehouse alongside a Germanic Lager on tap.
It does advertise has having a bar but the only people just having a drink in here are normally drinking tea .
