Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Hunters Lodge
Modern(ish) hotel, restaurant, bar and function suite set back from the road in the grounds of a previous older building. The main bar is elongated by a dining area of similar size, with a mix of traditional decorative features and more recent furniture (but the real fire was welcome on a cold November evening). Also has a patio area along the frontage sheltered by glazed screens and some wooden benches out on the grass. Castle Rock Harvest Pale (£4.00) available from one of the brace of handpumps.
