Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about No 189
Very busy micro-pub in an otherwise pub-lite part of northern Derby, now with a doubling of seating space under a marquee at the front. Plain wooden tables and limited decoration, but a real community feel. All six handpumps were also in use, offering a couple of Littleover beers - King George's Bitter and The Panther oatmeal stout (£3.50) - plus others from Theakston, Milestone, Affinity and Hawkshead.

This micro was a former beauticians and previous to that it was a laundrette. The interior was modern with white painted walls, displaying a locals artist's work. The bar area positioned over on the right hand side had a black granite worktop and a reclaimed pine timber bar front. The main features in here for me was the 70s style plastic yellow coloured chairs and the wave of ceiling strip lighting, plus some ceiling mouldings. We went for the Blue Monkey Infinity, which was as in top condition.
