The Boardwalk, Felixstowe

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Boardwalk

Café / bar opened in 2017 as part of the major improvement scheme at the foot of the pier (although the pier-head unfortunately remains out of bounds). As well as the main indoor room there is a covered outdoor seating with glazed screens to keep the wind at bay and plenty of other tables out on the sun terrace. A particular feature of the open areas is seeing and hearing the waves crashing onto the beach below through the gaps in the wooden decking. Two of three handpumps in use, dispensing 'house' beers from the local Mr Bees Brewery: a Best Bitter and the darker Boardside (£3.80).
