Part of a chain of bars owned by Titanic, this one can be found in a former waiting room on Platform 1 on Stoke station. As previous reviewers have said, the bar is split into a platform side and a street side. We had just arrived off a train and chose the busier platform side.
The drinking space is fairly small on either side. A screen in the corner displays both the train times and also local bus times. Although buses are currently in diversion with major roadworks outside the station.
There are six handpulls with 3 Titanic beers double-clipped - Iceberg, Plum Porter & Steerage. Keg beers are served from the back wall of the bar. They included Titanic Anytime IPA & True Stout, Signature Backstage IPA & Exale Krankie Iron Brew Sour. Ciders were Inch's & Old Mout.
We'd pulled into the station around midday and quite a few of the customers in bod were having coffees and teas, as opposed to beer. We ordered the Steerage, which was in a pretty poor condition. The two halves we ordered were almost certainly the first ones off.
Of 13 Potteries pubs we visited yesterday, I thought this was the worst. It's convenient for a quick drink on arrival or just before getting onto a train, but I wouldn't rate it as a destination pub.

Visited back in September. Six hand pulls, all of which were clipped, although some were duplicated, leaving a choice of four different ales.
When in Rome and all that, I went for the Titanic Plum Porter, at £2.20 for a half.
It was fairly quiet at the time of my visit so the barrier between the two halves didn't bother me, but if one side was rammed and the other empty, I imagine it could be quite frustrating for those on the cattle side without a ticket to get through.
I'd happily go back anyway.

It is a pity that the station at Stoke on Trent has ticket barriers, unlike Sheffield, for example, where it is permitted to exit the station via the Sheffield Tap. Here, Bod is divided in two by a mini-checkpoint Charlie, or at least it was at the semi-rush hour when I was here. There were fewer beers on the bar than other Bods I have been to, but at least this had the benefit that my half of Titanic Steerage, while not to my taste, was in very good condition.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bod Stoke
Attractive conversion of the former first-class waiting room, with separate doors from Station Road and Platform 1 and an annoying little gate between the 'paid' and 'unpaid' halves closed until the ticket barriers inside the main concourse are opened later in the day. Apart from that, both parts have been furnished and decorated in a mix of traditional and modern styles that seems to work quite well. With six handpumps on the counter, and as a Titanic Brewery offshoot, I found Steerage, White Star and Plum Porter available from the bank of three handpumps on each part of the counter, but no guest real ales on this visit.

At the far south end of Platform 1,or from a street entrance although if the ticket barriers are operational ,then an internal wooden gate will draw across dividing the bar into two halves. The interior is impressive with exposed brick along one side with some brick patterns and a very good glazed brick vaulted ceiling. The atmosphere on both sides was lively and clearly folk stay on the street side for a session ,while rail passengers are transitory. The furniture is upmarket as well and it all feels quite hip.
On my trip there were 4 Titanic ales in First Class,Plum Porter,Steerage and a very good Iceberg while the two guests were Nottingham St George and an Oatmeal Stout from a brewer whose pumpclip was too far from the internal barrier for me to make out.But when Titanic beer is available who cares about guests ?
A very decent place for a quick one or possibly a session. It maybe worth missing a train to get the full measure of the place, yet I will most certainly use it again when travelling through.

I got here around 17:30 on a Saturday evening on a day when both Stoke and Port Vale were at home. There was a friendly enough bouncer on the door and inside it was busy but not rammed. One of the reasons it was busy was due to a ridiculous gate cutting half of the pub area off. A notice on the gate said that it would be opened when the train barriers closed at 18:00. The barriers were closed when I arrived at around 10:45 and again at 18:40 when I left. They did open the gate just bafore I left but the barriers were not open. The other problem is that the only toilet inside is officially a disabled one but with the platform ones inaccessible everyone was using it.
The bar has six hand pumps which had Titanic Steerage, Iceberg & Plum Porter, Milton Pegasus, a Derventio beer & White Horse Dark Blue. I went for the Plum Porter (£3.60) which was fine but the Iceberg was quite cloudy so was changed for another Plum Porter.
For a station bar this is pleasant enough but hardly a place to come for more than a swift drink before getting a train. I much preferred their Stafford Bod. They really need to resolve the gate issue here.

New café bar situated in the station's former first class lounge. This new venue all came about when Virgin Trains approached Titanic Brewery to ask whether they were interested in this space. The bar is accessible from Platform 1 or from the main road to the left of the main station entrance. The interior consists of the bar area positioned along the far wall, which was finished in oak and I especially liked the curved edged counter top. Another noticeable feature was the original exposed brick railway arched ceiling. The bar is also split in two by a timber sliding gate in the centre of the lounge area, which splits the platform and street sides. Four Titanic and two guest ales on handpump. We went for the Iceberg and Steerage, which were in excellent shape. The bar staff were friendly and chatty and very helpful on bus route info, across the road. There was also a board displaying train times. The bar also serves hot paninis, which seemed popular on our visit.
