Komakino . left this review about The Lamb & Trotter
A bar / restaurant which, sensibly, separates the two, with a bar on ground floor level and a subterranean restaurant area with its own bar. Large windows, bare boards, a '2-Tone' bar apron, some exposed brick and a mix of seating heights. Indiscernible muzak played in the background and the clientele was solely office bods. Three handpumps, but only one in action, dispensing a decent enough Adnam's Ghost Ship for £4.80 a pint (Sharp's Coaster was reversed, and the third was unclipped). A couple of Belgian beers and Siren bottles were spotted in the fridge behind the bar and there were also five keg taps behind the bar offering five different Siren beers for the princely sum of £6 a pint, including the current Camra beer du jour Broken Dream Breakfast Stout. There are more tenuous ticks in and around this area and this isn't a bad alternative to some of the dross you might encounter if you're looking to crawl EC1.
