A collection of rusty looking shipping containers on the outside but nicely done out internally in grey of course, with a bar at one end and a restaurant place (Trakol) at the other in a different container. A long counter down 2/3 of the room is against the back wall, the rest of the space is taken up with tables and chairs. Unsurprisingly as it seems more restaurant than bar, the nine keg taps on the rear wall are unlabelled, you need to consult the menu on clip boards to see what’s on, mostly murky Wylam beers containing the disgusting Mosaic hop served in a brandy balloon type glass on my visit. Like ROB Camra not my kind of place, the seats are marginally better than he found and they sell halves and pints now not just thirds. The outside benches are under the Tyne bridge so have good riverside views and of the underneath of the Tyne bridge.

Probably the most pretentious shipping container in the country. They really do think they are something. In reality it's a reasonably sized bar with a restaurant area to the left. The brewing kit is in a room to the right. Loads of keg lines, but only 2 cask ales brewed using the on site kit. The seating options are all pretty uncomfortable with wooden settles and chairs or benches for the most part. They only serve beer in 1/3rds or 2/3rds for no reason that is obvious. We had one of each and it was a rip off £4.50 for a 3% ish table beer. Been now, don't need to come again, although the seating on the quayside would be great in Summer.

This brewery and tap house is situated on the Gateshead side of the Tyne under the Tyne Bridge and seems to be constructed of lots of shipping containers and classes itself as an independent container community. There are also other outlets here including a coffee place and a bike shop which i think all sell beer but could possibly be bottles.
