Ian Mapp left this review about The Pepper Pot
A very decent and popular restaurant, with a lovely enclosed patio out front - where they can pull down the sides and pull across a roof in inclement weather. They do sell real ale - and the Moho was in excellent condition. I have to say I was surprised.
Food is exceptional - several fish specials on and a decent Sunday Lunch / Evening menu.
Service is run off their feet - but if you are patient, you can have a fine time here.

Strongers . left this review about The Pepper Pot
The Pepper Pot Bar and Grill is set back from the narrow Church Street by a front patio area that is accessed up some steps from the street. The cosy interior is primarily geared towards diners, but non-diners are more than welcome to take advantage of the standard and premium keg range, as well as the two cask ales. These were Mantle Brewery’s Cwrw and St Austell’s Tribute during a recent Monday afternoon visit. During this visit the plasma screen was off and I saw no sign of live sports being advertised. There was some low background music playing and I noted that there is a two bedroom flat above that is available to rent. I didn’t stay long but I did meet three members of staff who were all very polite. I will consider eating here if I ever find myself in this area again.
