An American style bar/restaurant/diner, The Orsino Lounge is part of a large (300 or so) national chain, ‘The Lounges’, each named differently. Inside it has one large area with tables and chairs set out with plenty of room between making a very spacious atmosphere. One long bar where you order food and drinks. As for beer, just fizz is available with Brixton Reliance the only thing vaguely craft like on offer. The food menu is interesting and varied, lots to choose for a lunchtime pitstop. I had the flatbread with chicken shawarma and it was perfectly serviceable. It is a very dog friendly place and staff are efficient and friendly. Overall somewhere to go for a bite to eat and a sit down rather than a beer venue.

First time in one of these Lounges and initial impressions are of an upmarket Wetherspoon's but with rather less to choose from on the beer front. Menus are brought to the table, but orders are taken at the bar, where Brixton Reliance Pale is as interesting as it gets.
Just like the bigger chain, you know what you're going to get (assuming you've been to one before). If you're stuck for food somewhere and want a place that's going to be free from nutters, it's a safe enough option, but I don't think I'd be in otherwise.
