ROB Camra left this review about Spout Brew House
Multi roomed cafe bar next door to Spout Hall. The CAMRA website claims that there are 2 handpumps here, but there aren't and neither of the girls behind the bar remember there ever being any. So keg it was in the shape of their own lager, which was quitr tasty really. Several small rooms down a corridor and we sat in the end one overlooking the garden. Be aware that the toilets are up some steep steps. We quite liked it in here, but the lack of a cask ale would put is off visiting again,

Enjoyed our visit to this cafe bar which was busy with both cake and coffee customers as well as beer drinkers. 4 key keg beers on tap and we chose beers from Six Degrees North and Torrside and enjoyed both. There was a table and chairs in front of the bar counter and some high seating in front of the window, with corridor seating leading down to 2 smaller rooms. Of interest was the large dresser full of bottles and cans both from local breweries and around the world.

A multi roomed café bar, that is quite shabby chic in style and décor. They had four keg beers on tap served from a tea drawer on our visit, plus a decent range of bottled beers and some interesting gins from near and far. I especially liked the unusual designed gin bottles that they had obtained from France and Spain. The outlay consisted of a front shop like room with counter. A hidden away snug named the Dog House, which was tucked away behind the left hand wall. The was a room in the middle section, along with a rear back room and a patio garden. There four beers on tap, were Gipsy Hill Napa, Cloudwater Small Chinook Pale, Lokapolly Mold and Magic Rock High Wire. Mrs A had a coffee and a slice of cake and said both were outstanding.
