Apt name. On two floors, with the upper having a nice view, it is still 'compact'. Service is always fine, with four ales that, as OB suggests, are fairly common - but saying that my Rev James was very good. Always pop in.

Small micro in the GBG 2025. Maybe three tables and room for 10 downstairs. Another room on the first floor (dogs not allowed).
Not too much on - no chalk board or menu - what you see is what you get on the small bar. What I got was a Theakstons OP.

Small one room micro with bench seating down one side, counter with 4 pulls of not unusual beers inc 1 cider but workmanly kept. There’s more seating upstairs apparently.

Enjoyed our visit to this microbar. Four cask ales on offer and we chose Whitby Black Death which was fine.

Lovely tiny shop like building at the end of Grape Lane, although it does front a car park, the views beyond are of the harbour. Small downstairs with bar and some seating, there is also a further small 1st floor room with better views and one wall dedicated to a map and ship, presumably the Bark Endeavour.
The chiller (I think) downstairs gives out a bit of noise.
Beer is a bit warm and choice limited, but its a fine little place.
