Bar am Praban or the Proban Bar is a small wood lined bar in an ancient looking hotel,(the Isle Ornsay Hotel in english) open to non-residents and casual drinkers. One pull with a Skye beer plus a t-bar of Scottish kegs and Guinness, most of the Skye range is available in bottle along with other brands. A bit folksy and very Gaelic/Celtic but in a posh and tasteful way. It has canned folk music and regular live music, probably folk as well. Free wi-fi. Lovely setting near the harbour, gin distillery and a whisky tasting emporium.
