Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Thirsty Goat
Food-oriented bar with a kitchen and the bar itself towards the rear.
There were a couple of beers from Whitewater - the house beer The Thirsty Goat & Hallion Red. Guinness was also available, naturally. I was tempted to order food, but having chosen the house beer and not finding it particularly enjoyable, I elected not to stick around.

Strongers . left this review about The Thirsty Goat
The Thirsty Goat has a large open plan front seating area that feels like a hotel bar, I was actually looking to see if there was a piano. There wasn’t, but there was some background music playing. Large booths run along the right hand windows and higher end tables and chairs are found throughout. This area is table service, but there is seating in the bar area at the rear. A curved serving counter sits to the right of the kitchen serving hatch. Standard keg is available, half a Guinness was £3.10 so top end prices. I thought the service was very friendly and when sitting at the beer shelf that runs along the right wall opposite the bar the front seating area is out of view so it does feel like a proper bar. However, I don’t see myself drinking here again.
