Small single room bar with 3 handpulls and a larger craft beer selection. We arrived at 1pm opening time and the barman was happy to let us in, despite not being fully ready.

Just 2 cask ales from Salopian were on - Darwin's Origin & Sabotage. Weston's Rosie's Pig was the traditional cider. Craft beers were Two By Two Nelson Pale, Yonder Key Lime Coconut Pie, Verdant Lightbulb, Northern Monk A Little Faith & O'Hara's Irish Stout. We tried to order halves, but the only measures available appear to be thirds and two thirds. So, I chose a third of the Sabotage and another third of the Key Lime Coconut Pie. Both were very enjoyable.

There is limited seating inside, but this is supplemented by outdoor bench seating on what appears to be Hanley's main shopping street.

I thought the beers we tried here were very good, service was friendly and knowledgeable and the music was good. I would prefer the option of being able to order a half though. Featuring in the Good Beer Guide, this is certainly a nice addition to the Hanley drinking scene and provided a stark contrast with the Victoria Lounge Bar where we'd just been to.

A shop conversion ,the interior has bare walls ,a high ceiling while the bar is faced in wood from pallets, while the high tables also use this rough wood.Fairy lights maintain a hip feel to the interior and the serving crew are young and enthusiastic about beer. The collection of pump clip is a veritable who's who of beer brewing and shows that some very interesting beer has been sold here both on keg and cask.
There are two handpumps with just one working on my trip offering Northern Monk Eternal which was carefully served in a pint globe after quite a bit of pulling through and sample tasting by the barman. This resulted in an excellent pint, and I can see why it's in the GBG.
There is a much larger selection of kegs (possibly key kegs but not detailed on the board) ,around 10 on my trip with offerings from the likes of Wiper & True,2 from Blackjack and some more obscure brewers. There is a line of fridges displaying the bottle selection There is a cask discount for CAMRA members, and I would always include this bar on any crawl around Hanley.

As noted below this is a fairly small shop conversion. It has an unfinished look to it that I would guess is deliberate. I had a brief look at the can and bottled options and noticed a few items that are available in Tesco at much cheaper prices.
The small bar counter on the right has two hand pumps which had Ilkley Rombald and Blackjack Gold Coast. I went for the Rombald (£2.70 discounted) which was in good nick and excellent value. I quite liked this place but would probably only pop in again for a single pint given the limited cask choice. It's GBG 2019 listed.

Not too bad a little micro-like pub. Annoyingly it does third, 2 third and pints only. That said, its not too expensive unlike a lot of craft beer places. 2 handpulls for mingebags like me who'd rather have the cheaper(better?) cask ale. Cask beers were Fyne Ale Horizon Line and Twisted Barrel Mild. There are 12 taps for overpriced crafty stuff and I don't really care what they were. The single room is bare bricked and concrete floored.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about BottleCraft

Having relocated from its former home in Marsh Street South in 2017, this bottle shop and craft beer bar is again housed in another small shop unit. Just two tables and a couple of stools by the compact counter, supplemented by another pair of benches outside on the pavement. In addition to the various interesting offerings in bottled and canned form and from the 12 keg taps on the bar-back, two real ales are available on handpump: Titanic Black Ice and Take Me to the Moon from Luna (£3.00, less 10% Camra discount).
