A friendly bar which is obviously popular with the locals around here. Nicely decorated with William Morris wallpaper and carpets throughout. Bar facing you at the rear, 4 handpumps all on, Holdens Golden Glow, Salopian Lemon Dream, Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby Mild and Bristol Beer Factory Satisfaction. We went for the Sarah Hughes, which was reasonably priced at £4.40, and the Bristol Beer Factory, also priced at £4.40 for a 5%. Of course huge cobs are available as well as pork scratchings. There's seating out the front and the place looked attractive in the fine weather, with baskets of flowers etc. We spent a couple of hours in here. Visited August 2025.

If I had to guess what a Black Country version of a micropub would be like, this one fit fairly well into how I imagined it.
It's a comfortable place in an old shop set amongst a parade of shops within a residential area. The interior is carpeted and a warm welcome was offered.
Holden's Golden Glow is the regular beer here. Guests were Enville Ale, Timothy Taylor Landlord & Little Critters White Wolf.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Tivi Ale
More of a mini-pub than a micro one, with a reasonably sized bar, side room and front patio garden. However, the good-natured chatter and general atmosphere were exactly what you would expect. Smart semi-modern furniture and restrained decoration offset by warm lighting. Four real ales on handpump: TT Golden Best, Holden's Golden Glow (£3.00), 3D Good old Boy and Harvest Pale from Castle Rock.

A long overdue visit to this cracking little micro pub. 4 beers on - Holden's Golden Glow, Timothy Taylor Landlord, Thornbridge Jaipur and Stockport Brewing Company Cascade. We tried the Glow and the Cascade. Both were excellent. Friendly service. Lots of outside seating. Fresh cakes and afternoon tea available. Well worth a visit.
