Housed in a former branch of the Co-op, this is a modern bar in the Amber Taverns chain. Quite smart and nicely furnished apart from the appalling and unnecessary ducting running the length of the ceiling. On a Saturday afternoon it was absolutely wedged so they are clearly doing something right, possibly the pricing as a half of Old Peculier only cost me £1.30! The other clip was for Theakston's Lightfoot but that was off. I didn't have time to look upstairs but according to their website there is pool and darts.
