Steve C left this review about The Lost & Found

The Lost & Found, aka the L & F, is located in the Grade II listed old townhall behind a cobbled front area where jumbrellas cover lots of patio seating that was busy during my recent sunny bank holiday Monday afternoon visit. This red bricked Gothic Revival style building was completed in 1871, it is very pleasing on the eye. The main very high ceilinged open plan bar is modern, but I believe there are a few smaller quirky areas that I didn’t visit. Premium and craft keg were available from the serving counter that runs across the rear wall. A couple of hand pumps are also supported with Beartown’s Best and Brightside’s Odin being available. The Best was on very good form, which surprised me so much that I mentioned this to the very friendly barman who informed me that the ale is very popular with the younger crowd. I liked the upbeat music and there was a good atmosphere, I certainly enjoyed my stay more than I thought I would. That said, this is still probably a place to avoid at the weekend.
