Usual Loungers get-up (this one at least has a plasterboard ceiling). More lights on the go inside than Diwali. Fairly busy Thursday lunchtime with gentlefolk, mums, kids and dogs. Cloth-eared barman got me a pint of Hofmeister rather than a half. I’ve been in better Loungers and I’ve been in worse.

Yup it’s another one, counter on the left, seating mostly at lower tables and chairs, a longer higher table with uncomfortable stools to the side. Lots of big industrial lamp shades here but mounted far too low due to the low ceiling, there’s a bunch of granny’s lamp shades in two clusters in the front window. As usual loads of old photos and prints on the walls, this one has a selection of mirrors as well and the comfy sofas and granny lampshades at the front. The food and drink menus are standard so I’ll not bore you with them. Toilets and more seating upstairs. I know you can just pop it for a drink but why?
