The pub is rather off the beaten track being situated right at the back of the Blakemere Craft Centre, beyond the car parks. Despite being located in a section of tin shed, the like of which would normally be seen on a trading estate, the interior is actually quite cosy and pubby. Seating along one side with wooden backed benches and small chairs, the bar front is wood planked as is the bar back and shelving. Beer mats, tin signs and an Everton FC Goodison Park street plate feature, there are hops above the bar and around the units.
Plenty of outdoor seating available, much of it covered; this runs across the frontage of the now disused Sandiway Brewery which was in the adjoining unit. Dog friendly with water bowls provided.
There are two hand pumps, these offered Oakham Ernest and Wye Valley Bushwacker. The pub is also an off sales shop with a selection of bottles and cans.
It’s an unusual and interesting spot once you find it but you really need a car to get here (or a lift).
