Ultra-modern lounge, with a bar down one side and a slightly raised area opposite. A large screen features and there is a pool table beyond. At the front there are built-in 'outdoor' sections either side of the entrance. Along the bar there is a formidable range of keg taps but they have found space for one handpump in a corner. Sadly only Doom Bar and temporarily unavailable due to cellar issue but it was promised to be back on shortly, and there were some sensible bottled ales on hand. A little pricier than some of the other local hostelries and certainly more upmarket, but also friendly and with good service.
