Blackthorn _ left this review about BrewDog Edinburgh Lothian Road
A decent sized, L-shaped pub on the popular Lothian Road, it looks to be a fairly recent building and has been left with a fairly industrial style interior, rather as though they had run out of money before finishing it but just decided to open anyway.
It’s basically all one open plan room, although one leg of the L is split across two levels, having a lower level down a few stairs, and an upper level up a few. Décor wise it’s very industrial as mentioned, with some sort of bare concrete screed on the floor, a plain concrete ceiling with all the air conditioning ducts and other services plainly visible, although the breeze blocks around the permitter had at least been painted dark blue and there was one section with butcher’s style white tiling on the wall. Seating was a mixture of long and high communal tables along with fitted back to back padded bench seating to form a sort of booth. Other than that there was really very little of any note, although I did spot a shelf with a selection of board games available.
The menu offered a limited selection of food under the headings of burgers, wings, sharing or plant based, but to be fair my Patriot Burger with a beef patty, smoked bacon, cheddar, pickles, onion, baby gem & BBQ sauce was very good.
Predictably there were no real ales on cask, although there was an extensive keg selection displayed on a menu above the bar. It was a little difficult to work out what was their own and what were guests, but as far as I could make out their own were Punk IPA, Wingman, Dead Pony Club, Hazy Jane, Elvis Juice, Swear Jar, Terpz, Black Heart, Shore Leave, Grind X Brewdog and Weave, whilst the guests were Fuerst Wiacek Mix Tape, Atelier Vrai Servebot, Rodenbach Fruitage, Sureshot Precious Things, Neon Raptor Crimes Against Brewing, Bang The Elephant Wormhole in my Fridge and Overtone Made in Fringe. Ciders meanwhile were all from Hawkes with their Pineapple Punch, Long Live Cider and Urban Orchard, the latter of which went down well.

Split level interior with the usual raw industrial Brewdog styling. Cans/bottles available to take away.
