Planning permission has been granted to bulldoze the whole food hall or multi-use site that goes by Mercato Metropolitano and replace it with a very handy and no doubt beautiful tower block. In addition to German Kraft, which is notable for its beers brewed on the premises, and served from the tanks seen in the photos, there are the following bars that I saw on a brief visit: MM Bar, Jim & Tonics, Central Cocktail Bar, Craft Beer Shack, and Local Craft Beer. I have added photos for all six of these bars, rather than creating a new page for each one, so that we have a visual record of these before they disappear for good.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about German Kraft @ Mercato Metropolitano

Brewery and bar located within the Mercato Metropolitan market / food court / events space. The tap room / beer hall has a row of wooden benches but if the weather permits most of the customers can be found outside in the elongated and part-covered patio beer garden (with its own bar). Four Reinheitsgebot beers available when I visited, including a decent Edel Weiss wheat-beer (£5.50). I thought this was quite good for something a bit different (and certainly much better than the faux-Bavarian bars I have visited elsewhere in Britain).

Its not a pub .Is it a bar probably not but it does have a bar in this food market.It also has a substantial brewing kit wedged behind the bar.London,s latest brewery with 6 keg beers in the German style.My white bock was very tasty.Interesting.
