An ultra-modern bar/restaurant upstairs in the shopping area, with a large covered terrace outside. Some beers from the Curious brewery on keg and in bottle but that is about as far as any interest goes.

A seedy lounge bar and restaurant hidden away on a terrace behind some shops and, appositely given its provenance, entered up a back alley. There are stairs from the alley up to the terrace, or you could, alternatively, make your way in through the Moss Bros shop. The main bar/dining room is a good size and is taken up entirely with dining tables, which discourages casual drinking. The outside terrace which it shares with Cafe Rouge - reeks of stale smoke (smoking shisha pipes is actively encouraged as a pay-for item on the menu, a practice which I find unappealing in very many ways) and is littered with smokers’ waste. The non-English staff are pretty hopeless, the menu is pan-Mediterranean, but not in a good way, and the ambience is mildly threatening. Culturally and olfactorily, this is a very poor fit for Canterbury and I have absolutely no desire to return here.
