Tidy micro, the ORB stands for Orchard Road Brewery. 'Efficient' service, though I suppose they were due to close within 15 mins of my order (all the pubs on this strip close at 10 during the week for whatever reason). A good set of cask which I had no time to particularly note in order to get the remaining ticks nearby but my panic order of Marble Ginger was quite gluggable (NBSS 3.5). Didn’t know about the Orchard Road Brewery thing until after the event so can’t tell you if their wares were available. 7.5

Bar to left on entering. We were seated at the dingy rear to start with but progressed to an outside table. Six cask & ten keg. Not a bad place at all.

Six handpumps, all in operation on our Sunday afternoon visit. The line up was Three Brothers Thai IPA, which was infused with lemongrass, Brass Castle Misfit, Brew York Tonkoko Milk Stout, Brew York Superunknown, Durham Magnus and Bad Seed Judgement Call. We tried a few of the beers and have to say the Brew York Tonkoko was one of the best milk stouts I've ever tasted, made with Tonka beans.
The main features in here was the two copper lamps over the bar, constructed from two immersion heaters, and a varied collection of micropub and beer related T shirts, across the ceiling. This micropub also specialises in whiskies.

Micro on two floor levels; the business bit at the front is in a small ex-shop space, behind is a tall stool laden area with two shelves and a cask as table plus a couple of low seating areas. Staff not exactly on the ball, probably not used to the licensed trade in any form apart from the guy I supposed to be the landlord who struggled manfully. It has six pulls and a nice selection of Scotch single malts as well. Unusually for a micro it has conventional toilets.

New micropub, converted from a former hair salon. Due to open 07.12.17, at 5pm. Six ales available on hand pump, plus, five craft kegs.
