This is a micropub (depending on definition) that is housed in a late Victorian range of buildings. The interior has two areas partitioned- up, although you can see from one to the other. The back, smaller area has a dart board. There is a range of seating, from sofas and high stools, to a dining table and bucket seats. There is a standard lamp giving ambience in the gloom. Old photos are on the walls and there are a few ornaments in one corner. Music played in the form of easy listening (ok level) and there was no TV. Service was fine and a few were in (as it is generally closed on the day of the week we visited. Beer sees a craft lager, real ciders and four ales on handpull: Wye Valley Golden Ale (decent), Green Duck's Jiggers Whistle Blonde, Beowulf Dark Raven and AJ's Stuck in the Blackcountry (very good). A nice place, been a few times, and will continue to do so.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Jiggers Whistle
Newish micro-pub (having opened in late 2017) with a fresh and surprisingly modern look in the 'L'-shaped bar area which offers a reasonable amount of seating. Four real ales on handpump: with AJ's SPA and two from Backyard - The Hoard and 1898 Dark Mild (£3.00) in addition to a blonde house beer from Green Duck.

New micropub in Brownhills. Closed on Tuesdays.
Well worth a visit. Friendly service and good beer - what more can you ask? 4 ales on when I visited including a couple of local beers from AJ's brewery and Beowulf brewery - both in top condition.
