It's been over 6 years since our last visit to All Hail Ale, but this is a micropub tucked away in the Westbourne area that I really ought to make a bigger effort to get back to.
The pub had been empty until we followed an elderly local in. It surprised us somewhat when he ordered a sour beer to start with, which encouraged us to follow suit.
All beers and ciders are listed on a board to the side of the bar. Cask ales were Anarchy Wor Beer, Burning Sky Dignified & Old & Thirsty Moose Nectar Falls. A fourth handpull had Broadoak Moonshine. Purbeck Posh Spice was another cider available mulled. Craft beers were Ascapart Kimber Chimney, Eyam Bubonic Orange, Delirium Noel/Christmas, Holy Goat Holy Mountain (the aforementioned sour), Siren Christmas In Cali, Pipeline Nelson Krush, Vibrant Forest Pupa & Eight Arch Dainty.
Board games are available to play. Dogs are also allowed, with one appearing during our visit. All of the beers and ciders we tried were enjoyable. Some of the town's main bus routes are nearby and it's not too much of an uphill walk from the town centre. So, this pub is a bit more accessible than you might think.
Bournemouth and its surrounding area does certainly have some decent micropubs and this one takes some beating.

I agree with Moby, this excellent micropub is well worth the short stroll out of town. 5 cask and 8 keg beers on when I called. I went for an excellent pint of Odyssey Cold Moments.

A little walk out from the town centre found this decent micropub,a typical shop conversion format it had four handpumps with Brew Shack Pale Ale, Saltaire Best, Flowerpots Goodens Gold and Bumblebee Gribble Cider available on the day. Ten craft keg taps divided between two T bars also on the bar counter. I had the best beer of the day here, if not the cheapest, with Siren Turns and Pollys Rosebud , both on keg. Well worth the walk out to here.

Previously a restaurant, this full-depth micropub has a lively mix of clientele, many of them regulars, some of them canine and others human. It’s furnished with plain softwood tables in the shape of finger-pontoons. No hot food is served, but they are happy for people to order in takeaways. Service was slow due to the barman’s being easily distracted, but we got there in the end. There were 46 bottled beers, ciders and meads available, plus 10 keg beers. Real ales were Totally Brewed Guardian of the Forest, Harbour Cornish Bitter and Vibrant Shoal, plus Benton’s Scrumpy on draught. Beer was in excellent condition, fully justifying their GBG entry. Well worth a visit and a must for a crawl.

Newly opened micropub, converted from a former Himalayan restaurant. Five ales available on hand pump, plus craft kegs.
