An industrial estate taproom very handy for Coventry City’s ground which indeed we and several dozen others had in mind before the evening kick-off. Two rooms, a fairly well done – if small – bar area and far larger classic warehouse space with the brewery kit. Beer only served in the small bar area and beware wallies queueing out the door, which I simply circumvented by walking up to the empty servery space. Six of theirs on and my XK was lovely, NBSS 4.5. Beware that the bus up here from the city centre really crawls along, so best done early not late - especially if there’s a game on.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Byatt's Brewhouse Bar
Small brewery tap located in a typical industrial estate unit some distance north of the city centre, near the arena. Just a couple of high tables in a room beside the main shed, with six handpumps on the counter. All of these were in use, and I went for the Phoenix Gold (£3.50) with the Coventry Bitter, West Coast Baby!, XK Strong, Vixen and Mythical Beast IPA also available.
