Strongers . left this review about The Botanist
I had a work lunch in here not so long ago. I had a hanging kebab, which was different, but I didn't think it was that great to be honest. This is certainly more of a restaurant and I've walked past many times never thinking to pop in for just a pint.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Botanist
Much more of a restaurant than a bar, but it does have a decent range of bottled beers as well as ten keg taps (from which I went for the 'house' Tribal Ale, £4.70) and a row of barstools along the counter. If eating, there is also the option of sitting out on the first-floor protected terrace which offers some fine views across the Salford Quays.

The bar is reached by ascending a metal spiral staircase where you arrive in a large room which is broken down into separate seated areas plus a balcony overlooking the quays. There was 2 banks of 6 beer taps but no clips to indicate what they were.
The other half had never been in a Botanist before and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread and insisted we called in the one on Deansgate before our bus home.
Liked the interior of this one very much and found all the staff very friendly and helpful.
