Visited last month during the day - four of six hand pulls were on, plus 14 or so keg taps spotted. If you like pork scratchings, there are several different flavours available, at £2 for a tub.
I was slightly underwhelmed by my Ginnel (stout by Northern Whisper) and I think it was perhaps served a bit too cold for cask.
The inside has a rustic industrial feel with bare concrete floor, a mix of tables and benches with orange metal bits, and industrial style cable trays suspended from the ceiling from which the bar lights are suspended. There are a few booths near the front door.
There is outdoor seating to the front and it also seems you can utilise the outdoor seating at the market next door.
I'd be happy to go back another time.

An excellent brewery tap that is a step up from most brewery taprooms. The main features was the bar area which was constructed from a red brick bar front and a smooth concrete thick counter top. The large white perspex beer board with black lettering was easy to navigate. I also liked the colourful taps along the bar, incorporating their logo on the wall at the end of the bar. The weather was excellent so we took advantage of the seating area out front. 12 Keg and 5 cask on our visit, the cask were Gander, New England IPA, Yammerhouse, Oppenchops and Drongo. Excellent beers ranging from £3.50 - £3.75.

Called in here several times in the last year, but have only just got around to reviewing it. The pub is as described by Peter below, but on all my visits there have only been Northern Whisper beers available on cask. I've tried all of them over time and they've always been in good nick. It attracts an eclectic mix of locals and visitors. Ted Robbins was in on our last visit, I believe he lives fairly locally. It's a good pub and one I'll keep on visiting.

Spacious and adequately sized micro pub situated adjacent to Rawtenstall market that opened in early October by the nearby based Northern Whisper Brewing Company
On entry to the left there are 4 booths which seats about 6 in each and to the right there are about 5 brightly coloured stools in front of a long wall mounted shelf. Moving forward there is a mustard coloured backrest seating area to the right then the long brick built bar.On the left are some large windows with chairs in front and a long concrete shelf for your drinks.
There were 6 casks on the go on my afternoon visit with 4 from there own brewery and 2 from The Mad Squirrel Brewery. There was also a large selection of 13 beers on tap plus a good selection of 11 gins if that is your tipple.
This place opens at 10am every day apart from Sunday when it does not open till 12 Noon. The reasonably priced beers range from £2.70p a pint to £2.90p with the Blighty Bitter £2.20p a pint (Weekdays 10am-5pm)
Certainly worth a visit
