A café bar with a cosy armchair bit at the front, and a plainer room behind. The main feature of interest is a bank of four handpumps on the small counter serving interesting and well-kept ales. Visiting early evening, it was populated by regular locals popping in for a pint or two and a chat, with a good community feel. A bit of a shame that they have to convert a shop to replace the numerous pubs that have closed at this end of town but there you go. Note that opening hours vary during the week.

A tidy looking terraced cafe-bar, although I have never been here during the day, so I can only comment on it as a micropub. The interior is a single room and is a slight dog-leg, with the bar at the front. It is in brown, white an green, with mixed photos and prints. TV wasn't on and the music is at a decent level. The service is friendly and the place is usually busy with a more mature clientele. Always has 4 changing real ales on: Butty Bach (very good), Kelham Island Shooting Star, Abbeydale Absolution (very good) and Purple Moose Elderflower. A really great place, and one I always do in Bilston
