Strongers . left this review about The Celtic Corner
Celtic Corner is a large open plan pub that has lots of seating out front on the pavement. Inside in the left rear corner is a very long L-shaped serving counter that supports standard and premium keg. High tables run along the front windows either side of the entrance and there’s a sea of high tables in the centre around supporting columns on which televisions are hung for watching live sports. In the right rear corner is a pool table next to a test your strength boxing machine and stairs at the rear lead up to a sports bar, this was roped off. On the left-hand wall is a small stage where a guitar playing singer was performing, it was very loud. The service was polite, but I bet it’s hectic in here at times busier that my recent Monday late afternoon visit.

Don't be fooled by the change of name. This is a Smokie Mo's. Yes, the ground floor may very well have 'Celtic Corner' on the outside but the only Irish thing about it is the green lighting. Upstairs isn't a different pub. No real ale. It is however still popular with people who don't care what their beer tastes like.

The Celtic Corner has taken over from where Smokie Moe's was which is still open but moved to the upper floor.
