Well there is a bar in this complex of shops and other small businesses, it is located at the side of a cafe called the Atrium. It has a range of bottles and three keg taps dispensing Guinness, Moretti and the Jeremy Clarkson thing “Hawkstone”. I had to try the Hawkstone Session, a fairly bland, slightly sweetish beer possibly in the Pilsner style, it was served rather cold and highly carbonated. It was served however in the correct branded glass. The cafe looks like a former open space between buildings and has been enclosed with glass and steel walls at each end and a glass and girder roof. It’s furnished with a variety of tables and chairs including a splendid repurposed heavy machine base topped with glass. Not unpleasant and popular with women but it hardly counts as a bar never mind a pub.
