Although nominally a club it seems to cater for locals and visitors alike. We were taken in by two friends and bought drinks with no problems. It's very small for a club with there just being a single room with various areas. The surprising thing was that there were four real ales on the bar. It was quite late in a longish day when we called in, so the beer range is hazy to say the least. However I do remember having a pint of a light hoppy beer from Brewsmith which was in excellent nick.
